Quick and easy fix: update your Chrome (or relaunch) now if you still have this problem. As of Chrome Version 45.0.2454.99 (64-bit) OSX (24th September 2015), the problem has finally been fixed.
Have you seen your WordPress site’s admin menu gone totally screwed up? You are not alone. You might be using the latest WordPress 4.3.1 and Google Chrome 45 (latest as of writing).

I noticed the problem for the last several days. I was bit scared that it might be my theme or plugin causing it. I googled about it and I found out an article saying that a feature called slimming paint included in the latest Google Chrome release is conflicting with the WordPress admin menu.
To fix it, simply disable the slimming paint feature or, there is a donation ware plugin to fix that problem available now at the WordPress plugin repository, which means that you can go directly to the admin’s add new plugin section to search for it and install.
NOTE: the plugin has disappeared from the WordPress plugin repository. I have made a gist of the plugin script: https://gist.github.com/BeFiveINFO/284bbf2d1a73ea8ba975 I am trying to get in touch with the author but I have not gotten any response from him yet.
What the plugin does for you is to “simply [add] a snippet of CSS to your WordPress admin menu style to avoid the browser conflict” according to FAQ of the plugin page.
